Who needs a valentine's date when you can get a spoon and completely devour this Cherry & Cream Cheese Brownies?! Rather you’re single and are just trying to eat as much chocolate as you can today, or you’re in a relationship and you’re planning to be a bit extra romantic today, Valentine’s Day should most definitely include these gooey brownies in your life.

For the brownies:
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup cane sugar
3/4 cups cocoa powder to
3 oz milk chocolate chips
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 eggs, cracked in a separate bowl
For the Cream Cheese & Cherry Swirl:
4 oz. cream cheese softened
¼ cup cane sugar
1 egg, cracked in a separate bowl
½ cup cherry preserves
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F and coat a 9x9 brownie pan or any baking dish, large enough to fit the batter with nonstick cooking spray.
Place a medium saucepan on the stove, over medium heat and melt butter. Stir in both sugars, cocoa powder, chocolate chips, and vanilla extract. Stir together until smooth, then remove from the stove.
In a large mixing bowl, combine together the flour and salt. Stir in the melted chocolate mixture into the flour mixture.
Whisk in the eggs into the brownie batter and whisk until completely smooth. Pour the batter into the coated baking dish.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream cheese, sugar, and egg, until completely smooth.
Using a small spoon, dollop the cream cheese mix on top of the brownie batter and swirl in using a fork or toothpick.
Add small spoonfuls of cherry preserves directly into the batter. (Don’t worry about swirling the preserves in)
Bake for 40 minutes. Once finished baking, allow cooling for 20 minutes.
Garnish options: Chopped almonds, shaved/ melted chocolate, and/or powdered sugar.
