Classic Banana Bread
Banana Bread was the first thing that I baked when I was learning my way around the kitchen. It wasn’t something that my parents ever made during my childhood. So, this concept of using bananas that were completely black to make a delectable, sweet baked bread was completely foreign to me. However, this is my all-time favorite thing to bake now and believe it or not, it's the sole reason why I ever buy bananas from the market. This recipe has been tested and tweaked for three continuous years and I can honestly say that its the best banana bread that I’ve ever had.

Serves: 8
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 60 minutes
Ingredients:
3-4 ripe bananas
¾ cups cane sugar
¼ cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
¾ cups melted butter
2 cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large mixing bowl, use a fork to mash the bananas and sugar together. Whisk in the eggs, vanilla extract, and butter.
In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, salt, baking soda, and ground cinnamon. Slowly stir in the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, until well combined.
Coat a standard-size loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray.
Spoon in the batter into the loaf pan. Bake for 60- 65 minutes.
Once finished baking, remove from the pan and cool for 15 minutes.
Using a serrated knife, slice into even pieces.
Serve and enjoy,
